advancing sexual orientation equality
Welcome to the website of Gay Police Association (GPA) Scotland
GPA Scotland is the national association for gay/lesbian and bisexual police officers and staff in Scotland and those who support us.
All human beings are born equal in dignity and rights.
All are equal before the law and are entitled without any discrimination to equal protection of the law.
GPA Scotland shall work with the police service to develop policies, practices and systems that tackle homophobia/biphobia and promote and enable the recruitment, retention and progression of gay and bisexual men and women as members of a non-visible minority community.
Together with 12 other European nations, GPA Scotland is a member of the European LGBT Police Association (EGPA).
Sharing knowledge and best practice, cooperating on joint projects and using our joint efforts to improve policing for LGBT people
